First Week at Neshoba

Neshoba is celebrating the beginning of its very first Summer Camp at its new location at the West Side Community Center. Children from all over Neshoba County now have the ideal location for learning and having fun. Here's a look at their first week!

Welcome Back to the Oprah Winfrey Unit

First first week back was full of learning! Members got to play Math Bingo and Math Jeopardy, learned about the solar system, learned Smart Moves, started reading a novel, and so much more. Each day is packed with activities to help each child keep learning during the summer while having fun.

The Arts at the Meridian Museum of Meridian

West End middle school children traveled the first week to the Museum of Art in Meridian, MS. Each day was a new lesson in the arts. The first day was focus on making a comic strip, next was making clay model and pottery, and finally a watercolor lesson from Water Colorist Mr. Terry Cherry, husband to the Museum of Art Director Mrs. Kate Cherry.
